FOR THE 2026 PARADE

Grand Marshal

Patty Boyle Jacob

Patty Boyle Jacob was born to Jack and Mary Boyle on October 15, 1961.  She was the third of five children and has lived in the area all her life.  Patty is a graduate of both Kingston Catholic School and John A. Coleman High School.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Keuka College and her Master’s Degree from SUNY New Paltz.

Patty has been married to her wonderful husband Jerry for almost 39 years.  He is a member of the AOH.  They are the proud parents of their son Kevin who resides in New York City.

Patty has been a member of the LAOH for many years.  She held the Office of Vice President under Kathleen Houghtaling and has been President for two separate terms, each spanning a number of years.  Patty is also a member of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.

Patty was a teacher for the Kingston City School District for over 31 years before her retirement in 2022.  She taught Kindergarten, Second Grade, and Fourth Grade at the Robert Graves Elementary School during her teaching career.  She continues to be a Substitute Teacher in her retirement.

Patty was a life-long member of St. Peter’s Church in Kingston and became a member of St. Mary’s Church when the two parishes merged.  She was a Lecture and Eucharistic Minister as well as a CCD teacher.  Patty was an active member of the Parish Council for St. Mary’s/St. Peter’s Parish and was the President of the council for almost 10 years.

Patty is thrilled to be chosen as the Grand Marshal of the 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  She is looking forward to representing the Irish Community in Kingston, particularly her LAOH sisters!

Irish Princess
Anna Lasecki

Miss Anna Mae Lasecki, a member of the 'Kelly Clan’, DAUGHTER of Ms. Bridget Kelly Lasecki and Mr. Dan Lasecki, sister of Thomas Lasecki (Bearer of St. Patrick 2017), and granddaughter of LAOH member Kathleen Kelly, is beyond excited to fulfill a lifelong dream of being appointed the 2026 Ulster County AOH Irish Princess.

A 2025 graduate of MC Miller Middle School, Anna is a freshman at Kingston High School, enrolled in honor level courses while competitively swimming for Varsity Girls Swim & Dive, Tiger Aquatic Club, and Hurley Rec Tiger Shark Swim Teams, and participates in Student Government, Yearbook, Science Olympiads, and Varsity Club. Anna is also employed by Catskill Mountain Rail Road and enjoys entertaining ticket holders on the Polar Express.

Anna is honored to share in the celebrations of all things Irish with her fellow 2026 Dignitaries, especially Grand Marshal Mrs. Patty Jacob. She is looking forward to completing her 'royal duties' alongside her AOH/LAOH family and friends, especially her Uncle John Kelly and Aunt Deb Kelly, and the rest of the 'Kelly Clan.'

Bearer of St. Patrick

Johnny Ziegenfuss

Johnny Ziegenfuss, 11, is the son of Meagan Robinson of Ulster Park and Brandon Ziegenfuss of Hurley.  He is a 6th grader at J. Watson Bailey Middle School. Johnny is marching in memory of his great-grandmother, Maryalice Cahill of Kingston, and his grandfather John O’Connell of Kenmare, Ireland.  He is also proud to honor his great-grandfather Michael Cahill, one of the early members of the local chapter of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Johnny has strong ties to Ireland—his father, Brandon, was raised in Kenmare, County Kerry and Johnny has visited many times to spend time with his family there.

He has run the Shamrock Run multiple years and has marched in the Kingston St. Patrick’s Parade twice before: once with his Boy Scout troop and once alongside his grandfather Kevin Cahill, who served as Grand Marshal in 2023.

Johnny has three sisters — Milla, Eleanor, and Daisy — and is excited and honored to serve as the Bearer of St. Patrick this year. He would like to thank the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians for this honor. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
